Quick tip: Winning the Battle over Stress (list)


We experience stress everyday whether we’re at work, school or simply being at home. We are bombarded with stress anywhere we go and whatever we’re doing. It is part of our everyday life and the only way to get through is to accept it and move forward.

The real problem is when the stress is prolonged for a period of time from either mental or physical exhaustion. Fact is a lot of people suffer from it and for some people who couldn’t cope with stress are quite possibly leaning towards taking their own life. Most suicides happen on the first day of the year, January 1st, because these people couldn’t imagine having to endure the stress of living like that for another year. Its such a shame knowing that we could have done something to prevent it from happening.

First of all, it is important to talk to someone about this issue. You cannot deal with it on your own and it is important to get other peoples opinion rather than keeping it to yourself. I remember my mother, everyday she would come home from work and she would tell us everything that happened in great detail. She wouldn’t leave anything untold. That’s why every time I would visit her work, I felt like I know everyone already. She would tell us how nice Sophia is and how Bitchy Yana is. I understood why she was telling us everything. If that would keep my mother from thinking unhealthy thoughts then I wouldn’t mind listening to her everyday.

Here are some of things you could do to reduce stress and ultimately live happier.

  • Tell someone you trust
  • Get a Hobby
  • Exercise 
  • Entertain yourself (Movies/Games)
  • Eating Healthy
  • Join classes on dealing stress
  • Have a Schedule
  • Socialize
  • Meditation
  • Time off from work
  • Balance your activities 

These are the things that will help you focus on other things and really bring back that sense of purpose. It will also help you appreciate life in a deeper sense.
